Full list: The only reasons why you can leave home during lockdown
The Greater Darwin and Katherine areas have gone into lockdown because of Covid-19. Residents and visitors can only leave their residences for one of five reasons, or if they are essential workers. See the REASONS HERE.

GREATER Darwin and Katherine will enter a 3-day snap lockdown from 12pm on Monday after a positive Covid-19 case was detected.
Residents in those areas will only be permitted to leave home for one of the following reasons:
- Medical treatment including coronavirus testing and vaccinations
- To get essential goods and services
- For essential work
- For one hour of exercise within a 5km radius
- To provide care to people unable to support themselves.
In addition, Cheif Minister Michael Gunner says anyone in lockdown areas must wear a mask if leaving their place of residence for one of the aforementioned reasons.
