FRIENDS and family have taken to social media to farewell the “caring” and “kind hearted” man with a “contagious laugh” killed in a motorbike accident in Darwin’s rural area.
31-year-old Kevin McInerney was riding his motorbike on Gunn Point Rd when he crashed while driving around a notorious bend in the road.
His brother, Colin, took to Facebook to say goodbye, posting photo after photo.
“Love you forever my little bro!,” he posted.
“Always my front man.”

Friend Zaranne Gill said Mr McInerney had been her good friend for about five years.
“Kevin was a beautiful kind hearted caring man with time for everyone,” she said.
Bente Thompson posted “RIP kevy, well always live in our hearts”.
Stacy Maree said she wished it wasn’t true.
“I can har that silly dicks (sic) contagious laugh when I look at his photo,” she wrote.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said the crash site was discovered after a witness came across the motorcycle and alerted police.
“Anyone who has any information to assist, anyone familiar with the rider, his movements or anyone who saw him on Gunn Point Road, I urge them to come forward,” he said.
