Four new Covid-19 cases recorded – three children

UPDATE: A 25-YEAR-old woman and girl who arrived on a flight from NSW on October 11 have tested positive to Covid.
There were 20 other passengers on the flight who have been confirmed as close contacts.
Five of these people went directly into quarantine at the CNR upon arrival and will complete 14 days of quarantine.
The remaining 15 are members of the Australian Defence Force and travelled directly from the airport to the Bladin Village Quarantine Facility.
There are currently nine active cases under the care of NT Health at the CNR.
The pair have mild symptoms.
EARLIER UPDATE: A BOY who arrived in Darwin from Sydney and is in quarantine at Howard Springs has tested positive for Covid-19.
The boy arrived on a flight from NSW on October 11 and has mild symptoms.
22 people also on the flight have been identified as close contacts, including seven who are now in Howard Springs and 15 Australian Defence Force personnel who travelled directly from the airport to the Bladin Village Quarantine Facility.
EARLIER: FOUR new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.
All four cases are at Howards Springs and were passengers on repatriation flights.
Two siblings, a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy who arrived on the repatriation flight from Istanbul on October 2, have tested positive for Covid-19 and are displaying mild symptoms.
Another 13-year-old boy, who arrived on the repatriation flight from Pakistan on September 25, has tested positive for Covid-19 and is asymptomatic.
A 45-year-old man, who arrived on the repatriation flight from India on October 10, has tested positive for Covid-19 and is displaying mild symptoms.
Since repatriation flights to the NT began on October 23, 2020 there has been 17,689 international arrivals undertake quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience.
A total of 222 positive Covid-19 cases have been overseas-acquired, 152 of which have been reported from international repatriation.
There are currently six active cases in the NT, which are in care at Howard Springs.
