Five people in NT quarantine test positive for COVID-19
FIVE new positive COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours, all of them in quarantine.

FIVE new positive COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.
Four of these cases are in people who arrived into the Territory on a repatriation flight from India on New Year’s Day.
Those who tested positive include a 17-month-old boy, a 30-year-old woman, a three-year-old girl, and a 73-year-old man.
A 21-month-old boy who arrived on a repatriation flight from Frankfurt on 3 January has also tested positive for the virus.
Four of the cases are asymptomatic and remain at Howard Springs.

One has mild symptoms and has been transferred to the Royal Darwin Hospital.
There have been 53 positive cases in that time.
