THE arrival of dry winds means the Top End will experience its first dry burst for the season this weekend, but isolated showers will still fall across the region.

It will be joined by a slight increase in maximum temperatures, while a slight decrease in minimum overnight temperatures is also forecast this weekend.

The dry surge will flush out the humidity in Darwin and surrounding areas on Sunday.

It won’t spell the end of the wet season however, with humidity expected to return to the Top End early next week.
