DIVERSIONS are in place on the Stuart Hwy just south of Tennant Creek, after a road train trailer overturned.
The trailer was carrying hay, which is understood to be covering the road.
A car travelling behind the trailer crashed into the upturned trailer.
Southern Watch Commander Chris Wilson said the crash happened at 7.30pm about 23km south of Tennant Creek and police were on scene.

He could not say how long diversions would be in place.
He said no one involved in the crash was injured.
