THE installation of Darwin’s Tropical Light exhibition has begun with eight illuminated structures taking shape across the city.
The ‘Water-Towers’ at the Darwin Waterfront Sea Wall will be fully installed by October 30 and ready for the launch on November 1.
The installation phase will be lead by the Bruce Munro Studio team, who will be supported by Fusion Exhibition and Hire Services, Bunnings Warehouse, Clontarf Academy and Walk Darwin.
Tourism Minister Lauren Moss said locals and visitors will be “dazzled” by the sculptures.
“The local community have come together for Tropical Light, and this exhibition would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors and volunteers,” she said.
Bunnings Darwin Activity Organiser Trish Visser said her team was proud to be involved in the project.
