The course follows closely on the news that Darwin will be the home of a specialised aviation training centre.

The NT government has kicked in $1m for the Territory Aviation Skills Centre (TASC) at Darwin International Airport to deliver the aviation training facility. The new skills centre will deliver training for apprentices in mechanical avionics, specialised training for cabin crew and support the VET In Schools program delivery of Line Maintenance and Electronics training.
