ALMOST a quarter of people in the Daly electorate have already voted in the by-election.
To date, 1414 people out of 5706 registered voters have opted to avoid the by-election day rush this Saturday by casting their vote early.
The NT Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan said it was important Daly residents have a say in who represents them in parliament.
“Daly is one of the few remote divisions and it’s important that they’re represented in parliament,” Mr Loganathan said.
“Take the time to make sure you cast your vote before 6pm on Saturday.”
There are three voting locations across the region; Berry Springs Shopping Village, Coolalinga Central and the NTEC building Darwin.
“CLP won by 94 votes last year, so every vote counts,” he said.
Another 383 postal votes have been sent out to residents who requested them, via the mail.
