KAKADU National Park rangers have been scouring a popular swim spot frequented by tourists after a crocodile sighting was reported.
A parks spokesman said the Gunlom lower plunge pool has been temporarily closed due to a reported crocodile sighting over the weekend.
“Safety is our highest priority and the area will remain closed while crocodile surveys are undertaken to assess the site,” he said.
“We will provide further updates once the surveys have been completed. We thank visitors for their understanding.”
