Well-known local fisho Shane Compain was returning from a fishing trip with some mates at about 9pm on Saturday night when an unexpected obstacle got in his way - a cranky 4m crocodile.
They were crossing over the East Alligator at the notoriously croc-infested Cahills Crossing when they encountered the reptilian roadblock.
