THE results for two people in quarantine at the Howards Springs workers’ camp who were tested for coronavirus yesterday have come back negative.
A spokeswoman from the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre confirmed that two people were tested on Sunday after they begun to show respiratory symptoms however did not test positive coronavirus.
Per procedure, the duo were isolated from the rest of their group until test results were returned late yesterday evening.

The pair are among 164 people evacuated from the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan, who arrived at the former Inpex workers’ site in Howard Springs for 14 days in quarantine.
Seven of the passengers have tested positive for coronavirus, including two Victorians and three Queenslanders, one South Australian and one Western Australian, who have all been repatriated to their home states for treatment.
