Charles Darwin University has introduced gender neutral toilets and a new LGBTQIA+ support network as part of a vision to make the uni the most inclusive in the nation.

GENDER neutral toilets and a new LGBTQIA+ support network are a part of Vice-Chancellor Scott Bowman’s vision to make Charles Darwin University the most inclusive in the nation.
The university launched a new CDU Ally network where staff advocates undergo training to better understand LGBTQIA+ inclusion to support students and other staff members.

Mr Bowman said CDU’s new city campus building would also include gender neutral toilets.
“We want to make this the most inclusive university in Australia where absolutely everyone is welcome, regardless of their race, sexual orientation or gender,” he said.
It comes after a rainbow flag was raised at Casuarina campus today on International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia
