LOCAL Darwin boutique owner Hannah Corner is gearing up for a busy Christmas after a move from the city centre.
Skin Official used to operate from the old CWA building on Knuckey Street, but recently moved to the mezzanine area inside Sweetbrew and Co. Ms Corner said the move had been good for business, as it had brought through many new customers and trade.

“I’ve been gaining a lot of new faces and all my regulars have been coming,” she said.
It comes as the NT has experienced its strongest yearly surge in expenditure in a decade, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Ms Corner said like most businesses, COVID had had an impact on her, but she hoped people would buy local this Christmas season and support Darwin businesses.

“It will be interesting to see if people do stick around for Christmas or people will stay put,” she said.
