A 11-YEAR-OLD boy has rushed to Royal Darwin Hospital with severe burns after horror incident while camping at Litchfield Park.
Territory duty superintendent Bruce Payne said police went to a campsite in Litchfield Park in response to a young child who had suffered burns from a cooking fire at 5.54pm yesterday.
“The 11-year-old boy was standing by the fire when one of the group had thrown a small amount of accelerant on the fire,” he said.
