NORTHERN Territory superstar Baker Boy has made the cut for the esteemed Forbes 30 under 30 list.

Baker Boy, who’s real name is Danzal Baker, hails from Arnhem Land and through his music has put the region on the map, not just within Australia but around the world.

He was listed in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia category for entertainment and sports.

He features alongside other high achieving singers, sports people and actors across Asia and the Pacific.

Baker Boy, 24, is an Indigenous rapper who was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia this year for his contribution to music and the arts industry.

The popular singer raps in his native language Yolngu Matha.

His hits include Cloud 9, Marryuna, Cool as Hell and Meditjin.

Baker also won Young Australian of the Year at 2019’s National Indigenous Music Awards and last year was named Artist of the Year.

Several other Australians also made various Forbes 30 under 30, lists including beauty brand Alya Skin owners Emmanuel Barbas, 25, and James Hachem, 24, and Victoria Devine, 29, who is the founder of Melbourne-based financial advisory start-up Zella.
