“This exceptional project presents a unique opportunity to pause, reflect and remember our Anzac’s.”

Creative Light Studios projection mapping specialist Shane Eecen said the lighting project was a special way to remember the Anzacs while also encouraging people to look up.

“Red poppies that symbolically represent the service of our veterans past and present, and historical photos and imagery will illuminate the four locations across Darwin and Palmerston,” he said.

“Projection mapping is an incredible way to re-energise people’s interest in a building, we see buildings every day and take little notice of them, however when we project such powerful images we help transform the ordinary into extraordinary.

Parliament House will also be illuminated in red lights as a remembrance symbol of the poppy flower which is synonymous with WWI.
