‘Any violence committed on any other person will not be tolerated in our community’: Police arrest man at East Point

The NT Police Domestic Family Violence Section arrested a man for serious violence offences on Tuesday.

'Demand' for essential services for women 'not going down'

A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with serious violence offences after being arrested by the NT Police Domestic Family Violence Section.

Detective Senior Sergeant Justin Bently said the man was arrested at East Point on Tuesday afternoon.

“Any violence committed on any other person will not be tolerated in our community,” he said.

“Anyone aware of or experiencing domestic and family violence is encouraged to reach out for help.

“You can contact police at any time on 131 444 or in an emergency call triple-0.”

The offender will appear in court today.
