North Queensland emergency services respond to teen reportedly injured at Alligator Creek in Townsville

Paramedics have advised a helicopter is on its way to transport a teen who fell from a rock at Alligator Creek this afternoon and was unable to move.

Emergency services including a rescue helicopter are responding after it was reported a teen fell from a rock at a swimming hole in Townsville.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a call was made at 12:18pm on Saturday with reports a teen boy fell from a rock at Alligator Creek and could not walk.

Paramedics and fire emergency arrived at the scene and advised the best way to transport the young boy was via helicopter.

The spokesperson confirmed the teen suffered a hip injury but was in stable condition.
