First remote NDIS trial begins in NT

AUSTRALIA'S only remote community trial of the NDIS has launched in Tennant Creek, where the majority of participants are indigenous.

THE National Disability Insurance Scheme has launched the country's only remote community trial in the Northern Territory.

THE two-year trial began on Tuesday in the Barkly region, around Tennant Creek in central Australia.
