Protester ejected from PM's speech

Peter Dutton will end a controversial deal with a Chinese firm as part of a big push to put national security at the centre of the federal election campaign.

It comes as a protester has tried to storm into The Daily Telegraph’s Future West event as Anthony Albanese confirmed ongoing talks with the Trump administration over tariffs.

Mr Albanese also made a big admission over going to the pub with his mates.

The leaders today headed to Sydney for the final day of the opening week of the election campaign – only for the Prime Minister to be targeted by a protester during the start of the event.
