Cops called after MP Tim Wilson’s home vandalised by ‘outsiders’
A Liberal MP has revealed his home has been targeted by vandals and police also called to his office. He’s lashed out at “outsiders” seeking to “change” the community.

Victorian Liberal MP Tim Wilson has revealed his home has become the target of vandals.
Mr Wilson said it was not the first time his Brighton East home had been targeted and lashed out at the “outsiders” seeking to “change” the community.
“Sadly, my home was targeted by vandals again. For my & husband’s safety we will upgrade security again,” Mr Wilson tweeted.
“AFP are being called to the Goldstein office many times.
“This is not Goldstein, and many residents are saying they’re intimidated by outsiders trying to change our community.”

The moderate Liberal is facing a strong challenge from independent and former ABC journalist Zoe Daniel.
She is running on a platform for stronger climate policy and action on the anti-corruption commission.
Mr Wilson currently holds Goldstein, a traditionally blue-ribbon Liberal seat in Melbourne’s south-east, on a margin of 7.8 per cent.
