A 36-year-old man Mount Isa has been charged in relation to a buggy rollover, which had led to the death of a Gordonvale man.
He has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death, and fraud.
Queensland Police Service said the man was charged following an investigation into the crash that hat had happened near Ryan Rd, Lanskey, at about 12.30am on Sunday June 23.
A 49-year-old Gordonvale man was later declared dead at the crash site.
After an “extensive investigation” the 36-year-old man voluntarily attended the Mount Isa Police Station where he was arrested and charged.
He is expected to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Saturday.
