Monsoons nightclub launches Scandal party, lands celebrity judges

The edgy event will be attended by reality TV stars and influencers, who are flying up especially for the flirty fun. Find out more.

Monsoons will be throwing a raunchy party called Scandal.

Fake orgasm competitions and amateur lap dancing are just some of the raunchy activities that will take place at popular Darwin nightclub next month.

With a view to recapturing the old Hookers Ball party that used to rave on Mitchell St, Monsoons nightclub have made the bold decision to launch Scandal – a flirty-filled party they say is designed to ignite and delight.

Such has been the event’s promotion that a number of well-known influencers have decided they will partake in the naughty evening, with Big Brother 2014 contestant Skye Wheatley, Love Island’s Callum Hole and Miss Erotica 2024 Heidi Hilton all making the trip to the Top End to join the wild experience.

Also headlining the VIP list is Darwin drag queen Tina Mor’Cock, a solid line-up of DJs and an unnamed male entertainer flying in especially from Brisbane.

Marketing manager Brad McAlister confirmed the trio would serve as the night’s party game judges, with a number of crazy categories up for grabs, including $1000 cash and prizes for best dress and naughty stage games.

“We were looking for some cool people and to have these people partying in Monsoons is a bit of novelty that people can get around,” he told this masthead.

“We will be doing a fake orgasm competition, amateur lap dance competition, best dress too.”

The other competitions locked in for the night were not appropriate for publication.

Madeline Turnbull, Valentin Buil, Keeleigh Potts and Lachie Milne are ready Scandal.

Mr McAlister said party goers were encouraged to dress wild.

“You can come as whatever you want, be as crazy as you want,” he said.

For dress code guidance, hot firemen, naughty nurses and playboy bunnies are considered to be in the “ballpark”.

Further, best dress will be determined by the night’s “fashion police”, who will nominate party goers to join celebrity guest judges onstage for further examination.

With early bird tickets available, Mr McAlister urged Territorians to be proactive.

“We believe it’s going to be sold out event, it’ll be pretty packed,” he said.

“Once the first wave of tickets sell out, it goes to normal release which starts at $25, so definitely buy soon if you want to save.”
