The event’s potential certainly excited Mr Chan, who said he looked forward to connecting with other young Territorians.

“There are so many amazing young people with a vision for the future, and I’m committed to making sure their voices are part of decision-making processes,” he said.

Mr Charls congratulated the event’s ambassadors, describing them as “role models”.

“We must continue to celebrate and support the positive contributions of our youth,“ he said.

“Activities during Youth Week provide young people across the Territory the opportunity to engage with each other and community groups in safe, accessible environments and take part in personal development initiatives.”

NT Youth Week 2025 will run from Friday, April 4, to Wednesday, April 16.

The event’s calendar of events will be available in late March.
