A MAN in his 50s has been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with multiple injuries after a horror car crash on Channel Island Rd shortly after 1pm.
St John Ambulance NT communications duty manager Rob Webster said NT Police, paramedics and firefighters attended the scene this afternoon.
“I can confirm it was a single vehicle incident,” he said.
“The man, believed to be in his 50s, possibly crashed into some trees.
“He has been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with possibly some minor injuries to his head, arms and leg.”

A NT Police spokeswoman said the incident happened near the Jenkins Rd turn off.
“Traffic restrictions are in place with traffic being controlled along Channel Island Rd in one direction at any given time,” she said.
“Please take care on the roads and avoid the area if possible.”
