Two-year-old Leomani Misipati has been crowned the Territory’s cutest toddler.

Mum Kelly Challen said her little boy’s beautiful eyes, curly hair and cheeky smile charmed Territorians.

Ms Challen said her little boy was nominated in the NT News’ competition by his Nan.

“I wasn’t really expecting him to win so it was quite exciting,” she said.

“I think he’s cute and he’s pretty handsome to me, but I’m a little bit biased.”

Ms Challen said Leomani was a huge fan of trucks and could be a truckie or an operator when he grows up.

“If he’s got a truck in his hand, the world’s perfect in his eyes,” she said.

“He likes buses, but he mainly loves diggers and construction trucks, he’s obsessed.

“We’ll be driving along and he’ll just scream when he sees one of the road trains go past.

“He just loves it.”

Ms Challen said three-year-old daughter La-Eia was a little envious of her brother’s big win.

“She can’t work out why (he won),” she said.
