Linkon Tuari died on Saturday after his motorbike crashed into a tree at a private property in Coomera.
According to his Facebook page, Mr Tuari was a New Zealand native who moved to the Gold Coast last year and worked as a scaffolder.

“Over the weekend another Angel grew their wings. Our dear Poppy and Abe lost their only son Linkon in a tragic motorbike accident,” the GoFundMe said.
“Poppy and Abe have been using their savings to do their house and backyard up as Linkon would have been 21 in just a few weeks time and they wanted to give him the biggest 21st birthday ever at home and had so much more planned to do.”
The fundraiser hopes to help with funeral expenses for Mr Tuari’s family, who are unable to return to New Zealand because of Covid-19 restrictions.
“Any donation will be much appreciated from the whana,” the GoFundMe said.

“I’ll hold you close to my heart always.
“Love you Linky till we meet again, I’ll live like there’s no tomorrow because life’s too short and I’ll never take it for granted again. Love and condolences to your family during this horrible time.”
