A “futuristic” experience has hit the Glitter Strip which will give visitors the chance to let their imagination run wild.
Located on a central Surfers Paradise site owned by the Sultan of Brunei – the city’s newest tourist attraction ‘Imaginator’ offers an all-ages playground of immersive audiovisual experiences.
Creative director Nick Ennis said the attraction was like “being in a kaleidoscope of light, sound and wonder”.
“It’s a fusion of audiovisual art, lighting installations, futuristic gaming, and inflatable architecture,” he said.
Mr Ennis said the venue was “redefining the boundaries” of immersive entertainment through technology and of course, imagination.
“Imaginator builds a constant sense of anticipation,” he said.
“Each room is slowly revealed as you move through the space and a different atmosphere and mood is presented.”
The attraction offers 15 different experiences with chairs and lounges throughout to allow punters engage at their own pace.
Mr Ennis said the team were excited to see Gold Coasters step inside and engage with AI projections, sensor-triggered LED waves, giant silk parachute canopies, interactive mazes, a digital smoke scape and electronic wishing well that “whispers your greatest desires”.
The walk-through experience can talk between 20 minutes to an hour.
Ticket prices start from $27.95
