Hollywood movie star Mark Wahlberg has been spotted in Surfers Paradise, where he is staying in a luxury hotel while filming a new blockbuster.
Wahlberg shared a video to his Instagram account on Thursday, showing him standing outside his Wahlburgers restaurant located in the Paradise Centre.
“We are here at Wahlburgers Surfers Paradise,” he said.
“Voted number one sexiest Wahlburgers in the world, right here on the Gold Coast in Australia.
“And you can see why.”
Wahlberg tells the person videoing to “spin the block” and show the beachfront view from the restaurant.
The Ted star was seen shaking hands with the workers and taking photos with people who were passing by on the Glitter Strip.
It is understood Wahlberg is staying at the Langham Hotel in Surfers Paradise while filming his new movie Balls Up.
Insiders revealed this week that he had booked the hotel’s ‘Chairman’s Ocean Suite’, which costs approximately $4500 a night.
His upcoming project follows two American marketing executives who are fired for tanking a client sponsorship opportunity.
The production was expected to inject $64.8m into the Queensland economy and has employed up to 250 local cast and crew.
