Here are the Gold Coast’s most wanted: 

Stealing, Bundall

Around 2.30pm, a man entered the Upton Street store where he selected a ‘Milwaukee’ commercial power tool valued at $1450.He then waited until all the attendants were busy attending to customers when he exited the store, making no attempt to pay.

A tool is accused of stealing a Milwaukee commercial power tool worth $1450 from a Bundall electrical business on October 21. 

A man entered the Upton Street store about 2.30pm.

A man strolled into a Burleigh Heads pie shop shortly after midnight on November 5 – and left.

Shortly after he returned to the Gold Coast Highway business with two mates. 

They are accused of taking a 2017 Macbook Air laptop, Lenovo ordering tablet, all the cigarettes in the store, drinks and ice cream. Know them? Contact police.

A woman filled her trolley with appliances, clothing, books, toys and groceries at a Runaway Bay department store on November 8 for half an hour before hitting the self-checkout. 

Trouble is, she didn’t pay the $330. Police would like to know why.

Stealing from vehicle, Mermaid Waters

Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a wallet that was stolen from a vehicle at Mermaid Waters sometime between 6am on September 28 and 6am on September 29.

Police are keen to speak to this man after a wallet containing personal effects and bank cards was pinched from inside an unlocked car.

The wallet was in a vehicle at Mermaid Waters – and taken some time between 6am on September 28 and 6am on September 29.

A man had attended a home on Rio Vista Boulevard where he jumped the fence and entered the front yard/garage where he stole a wallet containing personal effects and bank cards from inside an unlocked car.

The empty wallet, belonging to a 47-year-old male resident, was later found up the road.

Police would like to speak to this man after food was stolen from a Surfers Paradise grocery store and a female attendant was threatened with a punch during the incident.

At about 7.40am, on November 1, a man attended the Aubrey Street business where he selected about $30 worth of chips, chocolate and drinks from an aisle before attempting to leave without paying.

The female employee, 26, confronted him, and the man threatened to punch her before exiting the store.

Wilful damage, Upper Coomera

Police are looking for a man after verbal abuse of a drive-through restaurant when a cashier window was also punched and cracked. 

The wilful damage was at a fast-food restaurant at Upper Coomera on October 5.

About 1.30am, two men went through the drive-through of the restaurant located on Days Road in a white 2001 Subaru Outback station wagon. 

The two men began verbally abusing staff, before the male passenger exited the vehicle, approached the cashier window and punched the window, causing it to crack.

Police would like to speak to this woman in relation to a $2325 ‘Gucci’ handbag that was stolen from a Broadbeach Waters luxury store on November 6.

Around 2.50pm, a woman entered the store, located within a shopping centre on Hooker Boulevard, where she selected the handbag from the display shelf and hid beneath her dress.

The woman then exited the store, making no attempt to pay.

Police would like to speak to this woman in relation to three asthma inhalers that were stolen from a Burleigh Waters pharmacy from July 20 to October 28.

Around 5pm on October 28, a woman attended the chemist, located in a shopping centre on Classic Way, and approached the pharmacist at the back of the store.

The pharmacist supplied a ‘Ventolin’ inhaler but instead of walking to the cash register to pay, the woman hid the inhaler in her shirt and left the store.

Police also wish to speak to this woman in regard to two further inhalers that were stolen from the same store on October 14 and July 20.

Police urge anyone with information in relation to this offence to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a yellow remote-controlled boat that was stolen from a Helensvale toy store October 26.

Just before midday, a man attended the Hope Island Road store where he selected the toy valued at $110 and concealed it in his bag before leaving the store, making no attempt to pay.

Police urge anyone with information in relation to this offence to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police would like to speak to this woman in relation to the attempted break-in of a car at Hope Island on October 24.

Just after 2am, a woman apporached a car parked in a residential driveway on Sickle Ave and attempted to gain entry to the car, but was unsuccessful.

Police would like to speak with this man in relation to a stolen bank card used to make 14 fraudulent purchases at Oxenford on October 17.

Just after midnight, a backpack containing camera gear, sneakers and a debit card was stolen from a vehicle parked on Upton St, Bundall.

The stolen bank card was then used to make more than $1000 worth of fraudulent transactions at various Oxenford businesses, before it was cancelled.

Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a horse-float that was stolen from a Biggera Waters business on October 25.

About 5.10am, a man attended the businesses’s rear carpark on Gateway Dr in a white Mitsubishi Outlander bearing false registration plates and stole a horse-float bearing Queensland registration plates 773UKD.

Police would like to speak to this man in relation to the attempted burglary of a house at Pimpama on September 27.

About 2.30pm, a woman was home alone when she spotted a man lurking near her car in the driveway.

The man then ran towards the locked front door and tried to force it open, before yelling, punching it and running away down the street.

Police believe the man in this image may be able to help officers with the investigation into a fraud which occurred on Monday, March 1 2021 about 3.45pm.

Pedestrian death, Varsity Lakes

A 74-year-old Palm Beach man died after he was hit by a car in Varsity Lakes on Sunday.

Emergency services, including critical care and the high acuity response unit, were called to Christine Ave about 8.45am after reports of a vehicle and pedestrian incident.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene for critical injuries.

The 80-year-old man who was driving the vehicle was not injured during the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

In particular, anyone with dashcam footage of Christine Ave, between Bridgewater Dr and Regensberg Cl is asked to make contact.
