Firefighters battle Lutana Ave, Miami blaze
Fire crews have battled a massive house fire on the Gold Coast that sent a large plume of black smoke into the air which was visible from a wide area.

Firefighters have battled a blaze in Miami that threw an enormous cloud of smoke into the air which was visible from surrounding suburbs.
Queensland Fire Department crews were called the fire, at a house in Lutana Ave, at about 3.45pm on Friday.
A spokesperson said firefighters were at the scene within minutes of receiving the call.
Images from the scene showed a fierce fire engulfing the property.
As of 5pm, firefighters had the blaze under control and contained to its point of origin.
Queensland Ambulance Service crews also attended the scene. A spokesperson said no injuries had been reported.
