A Gold Coast man has been left with life-threatening injuries after a car and motorbike collided at a busy intersection.
Emergency services were called after a motorcycle and car collided on Cotlew St in Southport, near the intersection with Wardoo St, shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday.
On arrival, police and ambulance crews found the rider of a black Kawasaki motorbike – a 58-year-old Molendinar man – had been seriously injured.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the man had been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition with chest and pelvic injuries.
The 45-year-old Robina woman who was driving the MG Hatchback was not injured in the crash.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to contact them at 131 444.
The police Forensic Crash Unit will conduct an investigation into the crash.
