Car rolled onto Snapper Rocks beach in Coolangatta
Southern Gold Coast residents have had a shock on their early morning walks, confronted by a car flipped on to its roof on the sand.

Southern Gold Coast residents have had a shock on their early morning walks, confronted by a car flipped on to its roof on the beach.
Friends of Rainbow Bay Society Facebook page shared two photos of a car which had rolled on to Snapper Rocks beach at around 2am on Tuesday.
The post said the crash was “another joy ride gone bad” but luckily no one was injured.
A Gold Coast police spokesman said the car had not been reported as stolen in Queensland or New South Wales.
The spokesman said they had receieved no reports that the crash was caused by a “joy ride”.
The car was gone when police arrived. It was understood a tow truck cleared the area at 6.30am.
‘You can’t park there,” Jay Ellis commented on the Facebook post.
