Three people have been taken to hospital after a suspected gas leak at a business in Burleigh Heads.

Three people have been taken to hospital after a suspected gas leak at a business in Burleigh Heads.

Emergency services were called to the Bindaree Food Group’s Taree St premises after workers reported smelling what appeared to be gas shortly after 1pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said four people were assessed by paramedics at the scene.

A man and a woman were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition while a man complaining of chest pain was taken to Robina Hospital, also in a stable condition.

A number of fire crews also responded to the scene.
