A woman was found dead in the water near an Apollo Bay beach on Saturday morning.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner after a deceased woman was found in the water near Apollo Bay back beach about 9.30am.
Emergency services attended the scene, but the woman could not be revived.
She is yet to be identified, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
