Wedding bells are again ringing at Cattery after a star forward popped the question, all of which was captured on camera.
Brad Close took to social media on Thursday night to announce he asked long term partner Grace Ballinger to get hitched earlier in the week.
Judging from the smiles in the photos and the bling on Ms Ballinger’s ring finger, the 26-year-old, 97-gamer was met with a positive response.
“Forever with you,” the caption read.
Video of the proposal saw Close getting down on one knee on a picturesque empty beach.
It is unclear who was filming.
The seaside betrothment appears to be somewhat of a trend down at Kardinia Park, after superstar key forward Jeremy Cameron went about it in a similar way earlier this year.
Teammates including Cameron, Ollie Henry and Ollie Dempsey, as well as ex-teammates Isaac Smith and Joel Selwood, posted their best wishes.
Close and the Cats will try to keep their top two hopes alive when they take on the Saints at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
