Virtual Reality arena unveiled in South Geelong

A virtual reality arena was unveiled in Geelong over the weekend, much to the delight of the local gaming community.

A new free-roam virtual reality arena was unveiled in Geelong on Saturday, much to the delight of the local gaming community.

Zero Latency, a global leader in virtual reality gaming, opened its new arena in South Geelong over the weekend.

According to Zero Latency, the expansive arena features next-generation technology which enables groups of up to eight people to immerse themselves in various virtual worlds.

Venue owner Drew Bailey said he wanted to bring Zero Latency to Geelong ever since first experiencing it seven years ago.

“This year, it’s finally happened,” Mr Bailey said.

“It really is the way to experience VR, whether you’re an experienced gamer or a first-timer looking for a fun activity with your mates.

“There’s nothing else like Zero Latency in Geelong,” he said.

The Geelong arena at 2 Dowsett St offers diverse experiences, including “Outbreak,” a zombie quest, “Far Cry VR” in collaboration with Ubisoft, and “Sol Raiders,” an adrenaline-fuelled chase.
