A woman has been hospitalised after a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Yarra and Foster streets in South Geelong.

A woman in her 60s has been taken to hospital after a two cars collided at the corner of Yarra and Foster streets close to major works around the railway tracks in South Geelong
A Volkswagen Jetta and another white car could be seen with significant damage.
One resident of Foster St said that because of the nearby works a crash was “bound to happen” at the intersection.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the woman in her 60s was treated for upper-body injuries and was taken in a stable condition to Geelong hospital.
A number of police, as well as firefighters and an ambulance remained on scene as of 11am.
The South Geelong train station is undergoing major works as part of state rail infrastructure projects.
