A missing woman last seen in Corio has been found deceased in Birregurra.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the 52-year-old woman, Tanya, was located deceased in Birregurra yesterday.
Tanya was last seen on Friday 2 August at a service station in Corio on the Geelong Ring Road, with police at the time citing concerns for her welfare due to an existing medical condition and her behaviour being out of character.
The spokeswoman said the Wyndham Vale woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
