What are the three key issues you are campaigning on? To foster stronger connections. Have a collaborative approach to planning, encouraging community consultation and involvement. Roads, services, facilities, venues and amenities for the community

Should council only focus on the three Rs - roads, rates and rubbish? Getting the basics correct would lead to a happier and supportive community. The voice of the community should be heard, understood, supported and acted upon.

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? Australia Day should be a celebration for all the community. It is important to be grateful for the country we live in.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? I do believe our climate is changing and people at all levels need to do what they can to limit the side effects.

What are the three key issues you are campaigning on? Having council concentrate on local and basic issues - local infrastructure, roads, rubbish etc, ensuring responsible development, allowing alternative housing options, and listening to locals.

Should council only focus on the three Rs - roads, rates and rubbish? The council should primarily focus on basic issues such as roads, rates and rubbish. They need to focus on local issues that affect the people that live, work, and visit the community.

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? Yes, whilst January 26 can be a date of sadness for many, it can also serve as a reminder to learn from history. We can’t change history but we can learn to not repeat it and move forward.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? It’s necessary that we do everything to reduce the amount of waste and pollution that’s generated. We should be conscious of the impact we have on the environment however climate does change.

Do you live in the ward? Unfortunately as a renter I am not in complete control of where I get approval to live

Are you or have you ever been a member of a political party?If so, which one(s)? Yes- I am a member of the local Victoria Greens. I am an endorsed candidate and have been transparent in my campaigning about this connection.

What are the three key issues you are campaigning on? The You Yangs ward is very diverse and geographically expansive where environmental policy is key while also accessibility to services, the impacts of cost of living and affordable housing

Should council only focus on the three Rs - roads, rates and rubbish? Local government can provide vital essential services to help locals not simply survive but thrive while considering the serious and ongoing nature of the need for roads, rates and rubbish planning

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? A divisive topic I believe that local council needs to consider the history and trauma attached to this day and consider the state and national movement towards reconciliation and treaty.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? Simply put yes, we have a climate crisis occurring that needs to be a factor in policy development and planning using renewable and sustainable choices
