Should council only focus on the three Rs - roads, rates and rubbish? I do believe they should as they are local issues which is the purpose of having a local Council. These basic requirements need to be perfected for the community before looking at other issues.

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? I know this is a controversial and very emotive subject however, I do believe it should. I am a 2nd generation Australian and am proud to call myself as such and want to be able to celebrate that.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? The world is changing but I don’t consider it an emergency in the true sense of the word. Do we need to take steps to ensure our world for generations? Absolutely. Anything that matters needs work.

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? Yes, but the focus of Australia Day should be about bringing the country together. That means recognising indigenous Australians and their history so they can share in what it means to be Australian.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? I believe climate change is real, but all levels of government need to act. Council should ensure it acts sustainably, but most work on climate change needs to be done at state/ national level.
