Integrity: Accountable and Transparent decision making

Should council only focus on the three Rs - roads, rates and rubbish? No-Council is mandated by Law to have a strategic response to address the needs of community health, wellbeing including future generations and climate change mitigation.

Do you believe Australia Day should remain on January 26? No-The date we celebrate Australia should be a celebration of who we are as a nation and community. We should choose a date that does not exclude our First Nations people.

Do you think we are currently facing a climate emergency? Yes-Burning of fossil fuels has emitted enough greenhouse gases to significantly alter the composition of the atmosphere. The average world temperature has risen between 1.1 and 1.2°C.
