Car flips onto roof in Bannockburn after reportedly swerving to miss a cat
Early reports from the scene suggest the driver was swerving in an attempt to avoid a feline before hitting a pole and flipping.

A car has flipped on its roof in a dramatic crash outside of Geelong.
Emergency services attended the scene at the corner of Morbay Way and Broadhead Way in suburban Bannockburn just before 5pm.
Early reports from the scene suggest the driver was swerving in an attempt to avoid a cat.
Its understood the grey Mazda then ran into a nearby light pole, causing the vehicle to flip.
Nearby residents flooded the quiet street after the accident. They said at least one person had been taken to hospital in an ambulance.
SES, firefighters and police were also on the scene.
The car was resting on its side, propped up by specialist equipment to allow the occupant’s rescue. The pole it struck was badly damaged but still standing despite a large kink in the metal base.
