Gateway Shopping Centre is getting bigger and better in 2025, with a wave of new retailers, dining hotspots, and entertainment experiences set to reshape Darwin’s premier shopping destination.
Among the headline additions is Strandbags’ first and only Evolution Mega Store in the Northern Territory, a 243-square-metre fashion and travel haven.
Construction begins in early February, merging the existing store with a neighbouring space to create a premium shopping experience.
Group CEO of Strand Felicity McGahan said she was thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of Strand’s latest store.
The store – one of just 20 Evolution outlets across Australia and New Zealand – will feature exclusive brands such as Samsonite, Antler, Nere, and Guess, alongside Evity, Laura Jones, and AYA.
While fashion lovers will have plenty to enjoy, outdoor adventure and sports enthusiasts are also in for a treat.
Gateway Extra is set to welcome a full-line BCF (3000 sqm) and a Rebel Sports (1,500 sqm) by late 2025, catering to the Territory’s love for the great outdoors.
Foodies will also have a fresh new dining option, with Cullen Bay favourite, The Jetty, opening a second Darwin location at Pavilions.
Expect an expansive dine-in and takeaway menu offering great value for money.
For those after cutting-edge entertainment, Gateway Extra is gearing up to host the Hologram Zoo, a state-of-the-art 3D attraction, set to launch in mid-March.
