An Alice Springs resident closing his gate lost his car Saturday afternoon when four offenders allegedly took off in it.

Northern Territory Police Force are calling for information in relation to the alleged theft.

Police say around 3:30pm, Saturday they received reports that four offenders allegedly stole a Holden Colorado from a driveway in Gillen.

At 11:50pm, members sighted the stolen motor vehicle on Gregory Terrace and a tyre deflation device was later successfully deployed on Larapinta Drive.

The vehicle came to a complete stop on Bradshaw Terrace and all four occupants fled the scene by foot.

Police said two male youths, 13 and 14-years-old were arrested nearby and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
