Two new COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Darwin from repatriation flights

Two new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in Darwin bringing the total number of active cases in the Territory to three.

TWO new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the NT.

The two females, aged two and 34, tested positive after arriving on a repatriation flight from New Delhi on March 25.

The two-year-old remains asymptomatic and the 34-year-old has mild symptoms and is under the care of the AUSMAT team at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases reported from international repatriation to 72.

The total number of active cases in the Territory now stands at three.
