A MAN has sustained head injuries after falling down rocks while walking in Litchfield National Park.
Speaking on ABC Darwin radio this morning, St John Ambulance NT operations manager Craig Garraway said emergency services and health staff at nearby Batchelor had responded to a call about the incident about 12.30pm yesterday.
“There are a lot of people out there enjoying Litchfield, and a 55-year-old male I believe has fallen down some rocks there and had a head injury,” he said.
“Emergency services from Batchelor along with the Batchelor Health Clinic responded to that, and thankfully were able to get in there and walk him out and get him back to the Batchelor Health Clinic, where they took care of him.
“I believe he’s recovering well and back with his family.”
