Emergency services called to Keenan Street, Oonoonba following car and pedestrian incident

A man has been taken to Townsville University Hospital with a “significant leg injury” following a car and pedestrian incident on Keenan Street, Oonoonba at around 1.38pm on Friday afternoon.

It is believed the man was hit by the vehicle, but no other information is known about the incident at this stage.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed the male adult patient was in a stable condition.
