Emergency crews on site of two-vehicle crash at Aitkenvale

Emergency crews are currently working to remove a woman from her vehicle after a two-vehicle crash.

Emergency crews are working to extract a woman from a car after a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Ross River Road and Anne Street in Aitkenvale.

A Queensland Police spokesman said they received the report at 7:56am on Tuesday, and have advised the second car involved is no longer at the scene.

Paramedics are on scene treating the woman for chest injuries however her condition is unconfirmed at this point in time.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible as traffic is backed up along Ross River Rd as investigations continue.
